ABOUT

Hi, I’m Anne – versatile User-Experience Designer / Developer experienced in every phase of the Design Thinking paradigm particularly enjoying Prototyping.

However my first love was drawing and I received a BA in Illustration and Graphic Design from the Massachusetts College of Art and planned a career as a freelance illustrator.

As this transitory world revolved, I learned web design while working in MIT’s Lab for Computer Science then catapulting into development roles, becoming webmaster for Fidelity’s National Financial and entirely responsible for developing the NF Marketing site and producing very large Broker-Dealer email campaigns. I believe a strong visual sensibility informs the perfectionist nature of my front-end coding and allows me to easily swap design / development hats.

Subsequent roles at State Street Corp provided me Interaction Design opportunities.  I assisted in the archetyping of large CMS systems based on multiple user profiles and large metadata.

While in Bank of America’s UX group, I further honed my front-end development skills creating the templates from which dozens of usability tests of Bank of America’s “Erica”, the Virtual Financial Assistant in use by 6 million Bank of America customers, are based.

I am expert with a wide range of tools including Adobe’s Creative Cloud and Sketch for designing; HTML, CSS and JavaScript or Axure for rapid prototyping; Principle, and Keynote for animation and of course InVision. I have intermediate WordPress skills having created half a dozen sites and adapted themes and created child themes.
